Staff Therapist

Location: Lakeview / Uptown, Chicago |
Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (W-2 Employee) |

About the Role

We’re seeking a licensed or provisionally licensed therapist who is genuinely passionate about helping clients grow — not just capable of the work, but energized by it. You’ll join a supportive, collaborative team and build a caseload that includes both individual clients and couples. We provide marketing support and referral sources to help you grow a thriving practice.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide therapy to both individual clients and couples across a range of presenting concerns
  • Deliver LGBTQ-affirming, culturally competent care
  • Use evidence-based modalities suited to your training and your clients’ needs
  • Collaborate with a supportive, growth-oriented team
  • Build your caseload with marketing and referral support from the practice
  • Maintain documentation in SimplePractice EHR

What We’re Looking For

✓ Required

  • Licensed or provisionally licensed in Illinois (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, LP, or provisional equivalents – LSW, LPC, etc.)
  • Experience working with both individual clients and couples
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Comfort and demonstrated experience delivering LGBTQ+-affirming care
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development

★ Preferred

  • Fully licensed (vs. provisionally licensed)
  • Training in evidence-based modalities (e.g. CBT, DBT, EMDR)
  • Experience serving Chicago’s North Side communities

💰 Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $50–65/hour
