Specialties:

I strongly believe in the inherent worth and healing potential within every individual. Our unique life experiences, backgrounds, and circumstances shape our emotions and how we express them.

My primary aim is to cultivate a therapeutic space that is comforting, accepting, and culturally humble. Through a strengths-based approach, I guide clients in understanding the profound influence of their thoughts on their behaviors and emotions.

It is my commitment to creating a safe and affirming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals, providing a nurturing environment for healing and personal growth.

In my practice, I draw from a range of evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). These approaches have shown effectiveness in promoting positive change and overall well-being.

If you feel ready to embark on or continue your mental health journey, I am enthusiastic to hear from you and provide the support you need throughout this process.

I received my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in addictions from Loyola University Chicago. I am a Licensed Social Worker, Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Specialist.
